THE COLD WATER FISHERY IN BIG GREEN LAKE

People and business in the area who enjoy fishing Big Green Lake have
 organized a council to help improve the cold water fishery. Many of these have donated money and time and because of this there will be 23,000 RE Rainbow stocked this Sept. in Big Green Lake.
They should be creel ready by next year.
Many thanks to all who have helped with this project.

EARLY SUMMER LAKE TROUT FISHING 2017

We got the boat out in early May.
 The Lake Trout bite is slow but steady.
We are catching fewer in number small sized lake trout,
 The lake trout that are being caught are larger in size than average.
