ICE FISHING UPDATE

Starting on Sat, Feb. 13th we will have shanties
 over deep water for Lake Trout,  and Cisco.
We also have shanties for Perch fishing.
It will be a short season, but we hope a great fishing season.
We are running on a day to day basis because of the weather,
and watching the ice conditions every day

ICE CONDITIONS ON BIG GREEN LAKE FEB 1 2016

The ice has been marginal since the east half of the lake froze during the last cold spell we had.
There is still open water on the west end.
 We have walking ice and some people are tent fishing. The bays are froze enough for some perch and blue gill fishing.
We are checking the ice  over the deep water again today, to see if it is safe for larger shanties.
